Through our experience of working with many clients within the Financial Services sector, Mokum has become centrally involved in an industry focused development forum for Financial Services organisations that have invested in Oracle Applications. This forum brings Mokum to the heart of Financial Services issues and gives our consultants an unparalleled insight and a practical understanding of the problems facing Financial Services organisations. Through this forum we are currently involved in discussions surrounding the areas of subledger architecture (including ADI), single sign-on security and consolidation enhancements and new Oracle grid technology such as the Financial Services Applications Hub (FSAH).
Mokum’s recent client work within the Financial Services sector includes a study to calculate cost savings from an Oracle Internet Procurement project at a major investment bank, implementing Oracle Purchasing and Internet Procurement at a large UK insurer and implementing a budgeting and forecasting tool based on Oracle Financial Analyzer technology at a leading global provider of foreign exchange trading and market data solutions.

Mokum’s Consulting Directors and Consultants have been involved in some of the world’s largest Oracle Applications projects for telecommunication organisations. Our experience within the telecommunication sector includes remotely supporting Oracle Financial Applications for a global IP-based network company, implementing a global Oracle Applications 11.5.10 ERP solution and an offshore shared services centre within a leading global provider of telecommunications solutions, upgrading a large European provider of business-to-business data, voice and managed services from Oracle Applications release 11.0.3 to release 11.5.10 – this project included introducing new modules such as Oracle Advanced Collections and Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Management modules.

Mokum has worked for many household brand names within the UK media industry, from television networks to magazine publishers. Our recent experience includes implementing the Oracle E-Business Special Edition for a global publishing company which included setting up a shared service centre in the Czech Republic to remotely supporting a major magazine publishing company with their Oracle Financial Applications and rolling out their Oracle system to subsidiary organisations in Asia-Pacific. We have also recently completed a strategic review of purchasing options for one of the UK’s main television networks.
